I earned my undergraduate degree in Computer Science from India (2018-2022). For the first three years, I dedicated myself to learning how to code, develop, test, and build. However, my work was always within a team setting - structured, execution-focused, and lacking creativity. I found myself simply doing what needed to be done, without motivation or a personal drive to create. It felt robotic. Beyond computer science, I had always been fascinated by psychology and physics, which led me to pursue a minor in these subjects. In my final year, when it was time to choose electives, I opted for a Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) course which became a turning point. For the first time, I was able to connect the dots between technology and human behavior. Understanding the “why” behind design choices, and how interfaces influence user experience, sparked something in me. I wasn’t just completing assignments - I was fully engaged. I delivered an outstanding project, and when people asked how I did it, I realized it came naturally to me.
